Having joined the business over 13 years ago, Marcus is a member of the UK board and chairs the ESG committee at Clearwater International working closely with deal leaders across the business to progress initiatives.

Prior to Clearwater, Marcus spent 10 years at KPMG where he specialised in corporate finance and established a business services team. Marcus has worked in the corporate finance industry for over 20 years, and holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.

Graeme Ardus joined Triton in May 2013 as Head of ESG. Graeme previously held industrialroles as a Global Director ofOccupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) and Sustainability at Amcor, a multinational packaging firm. Prior to this he spent ten years working for ERM, managing and undertaking a broad range ofsustainability projects. Graeme is a member of the BVCA Responsible Investment Advisory Group, Invest Europe Responsible Investment Roundtable and iCI Steering Committee. Graeme holds an MA Hons, Geography Degree from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Environmental Management in the Business Community.

Adam has spent his entire near 30-year career as an ESG and sustainability specialist (the past 13 years employed within alternative finance). He has an academic background in Environmental Science, Environmental Law and Occupational Health and Safety, and has worked across most industry sectors in over 60 countries worldwide.

As a Partner in Coller Capital’s Investment Team, Adam draws upon this experience to lead the ESG Function and has primary responsibility for integrating ESG and sustainability within all investment decision-making and management processes. He also leads and supports on a range of ESG and sustainability initiatives applicable across the firm. Prior to joining Coller Capital in 2016, he was Partner and Head of Sustainability at multi-national private equity, venture and real estate manager (Doughty Hanson).

He is currently a Senior Advisor to Shell on Energy Transition markets having previously led their strategy in Power, Hydrogen, E-Mobility, and Nature Base Solutions. Between 2016-20, James co-led the rapid growth of Lightsource BP to become a global leader in the renewable energy sector. In private equity he co-founded green infrastructure fund, Eversource Capital, and held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, First Reserve and Advent International.

Prior to joining Northleaf in 2013, Matthieu was a partner at PEFOX, a private equity secondaries and derivatives broker in Paris. Previously, Matthieu worked with Pantheon Ventures’ secondaries team in London where he was responsible for the sourcing, evaluation and negotiation of portfolio, fund and direct secondary transactions. Matthieu began his career with an expansion capital fund sponsored by Société Générale Asset Management in Paris.

Matthieu received an M.Sc. in Financial Engineering from the Sorbonne University and a B.Sc. in Management Science & Finance from Dauphine University in Paris.

Before joining PRI, he worked in the emerging market private equity team of Capital Group for over a decade. In addition, Peter is a member of the Initiative Climat International (iCl) steering committee, an investor-led private equity climate initiative. Peter holds a BSc in Human and Physical Geography from Reading University in the UK. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Previously, he was an M&A and private funds associate in the New York offices of two international law firms. Rob has also served as a Jacobson Fellow in Law and Business at New York University Law School, and as a professional lecturer in law on the adjunct faculty at The George Washington University Law School.

Michele co-founded Bridges alongside Philip Newborough and Sir Ronald Cohen in 2002. In addition to co-running Bridges, which is a specialist sustainable and impact fund management company, Michele has played a leading role in the growth of the sustainable and impact investing sectors in the UK and worldwide, including chairing the UK National Advisory Board on Impact Investing (part of the Global Social Impact Investment Steering Group) from 2016-18 and a Global Working Group on Policy. She is currently a Non-Executive Director on the board of CDC, the UK Government’s Development Finance Institution. Michele is also a trustee for the Bridges Impact Foundation and chairs the Board of Bridges Insights.

Kate works on roles across the private equity and venture capital market, with a specialist focus on investor relations, fundraising, ESG and sustainable and impact investment.

Kate spent over 15 years in the private equity market working as an Investor Relations Manager for both Capital Dynamics and SVG Advisers before moving into recruitment five years ago. She is also a graduate of Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge, a qualification which underpins her knowledge of sustainable investment.

Kate’s first-hand industry experience and sector expertise give her a valuable insight into the skills required to build investor relations teams and develop ESG and sustainable investment strategies.

Aga’s focus at Oakley is to support the incorporation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into the investment process, and to engage with portfolio companies on ESG topics and projects.

Prior to joining Oakley, Aga served as the interim Head of ESG at Permira, working with deal teams and directly with portfolio companies. Before this, Aga spent 12 years as an environmental consultant, first at ERM then at Ramboll, advising corporate and financial sector clients on environmental risks and opportunities.

Aga holds an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy from Oxford University and a BA (Hons) in Geography and Political Science from Rutgers University, USA.

Hugh Stacey joined IQ-EQ as the Executive Director of IQ-EQ Investor Solutions, which is a division dedicated to servicing aims to meet the needs of investment managers and their investors, delivering real time data reporting and data analysis on their investment portfolio.

Having served five years in the British Army leaving as Captain in 2007, Hugh spent seven years at IQ-EQ initially based in the London offices. Here he assisted in building the Sales team for EMEA. Hugh then moved to Singapore as Managing Director of Asia where he built the firm’s operations in the region.

Back in 2013, Hugh joined an alternative investment manager based in Singapore, Vulpes Investment Management, as Managing Director. During his time, he was responsible for all commercial activities as well as product development and corporate strategy. He graduated from the University of Leeds

Olivia brings significant experience in the food industry, including as a co-founder herself of Olive + Squash, a fast-casual farm-to-table restaurant in London.
Previously, Olivia was part of Blackstone’s Alternative Asset Management team and an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Olivia received a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Science from Imperial Business School in Climate Change, Management and Finance. She is fluent in English, Norwegian and conversational in German and French.

I have been involved in providing solutions for each stage of the fund lifecycle, namely portfolio-based NAV lending facilities for funds, subscription facilities for funds and solutions to assist GPs with their co-invest. More recently I have worked to build out our team’s ESG strategy, working on ESG backed subscription and NAV facilities
