Adam has spent his entire near 30-year career as an ESG and sustainability specialist (the past 13 years employed within alternative finance). He has an academic background in Environmental Science, Environmental Law and Occupational Health and Safety, and has worked across most industry sectors in over 60 countries worldwide.

As a Partner in Coller Capital’s Investment Team, Adam draws upon this experience to lead the ESG Function and has primary responsibility for integrating ESG and sustainability within all investment decision-making and management processes. He also leads and supports on a range of ESG and sustainability initiatives applicable across the firm. Prior to joining Coller Capital in 2016, he was Partner and Head of Sustainability at multi-national private equity, venture and real estate manager (Doughty Hanson).

Matthieu participates in all aspects of Northleaf’s private equity investment activities, with a focus on the origination, evaluation and monitoring of secondary investments. Matthieu also chairs the Private Equity ESG Committee.

Prior to joining Northleaf in 2013, Matthieu was a partner at PEFOX, a private equity secondaries and derivatives broker in Paris. Previously, Matthieu worked with Pantheon Ventures’ secondaries team in London where he was responsible for the sourcing, evaluation and negotiation of portfolio, fund and direct secondary transactions. Matthieu began his career with an expansion capital fund sponsored by Société Générale Asset Management in Paris.

Matthieu received an M.Sc. in Financial Engineering from the Sorbonne University and a B.Sc. in Management Science & Finance from Dauphine University in Paris.

Robert Esposito is Senior ESG Counsel at Apollo Global Management, Inc. Prior to joining Apollo in 2020, Rob was an associate in the Private Funds Group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Previously, he was an M&A and private funds associate in the New York offices of two international law firms. Rob has also served as a Jacobson Fellow in Law and Business at New York University Law School, and as a professional lecturer in law on the adjunct faculty at The George Washington University Law School.

Jan is a Partner in Addleshaw Goddard’s Investment Management group. His particular focus is on counselling asset and fund managers. Jan regularly advises on fund establishment and structuring matters, product distribution and marketing, investment management negotiation and regulatory change implementation. He regularly counsels GPs on the formation of private funds that are active in the ESG or impact investment space, such as forestry funds, renewable energy infrastructure funds or social impact funds.

Reynir Indahl is the Managing Partner of Summa Equity, a Nordic Private Equity (PE) fund that he founded in 2016 with EUR 1.6bn in Assets under Management across two funds. Summa was the first in PE to align its investments with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the clear purpose to invest to solve global challenges. Megatrends such as global population growth, resource scarcity, energy transition, and aging population are driving growth within the Summa investment themes with the hypothesis that the global challenges are our biggest investment opportunities. Reynir has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and MBA from Harvard Business School. He was previously Partner with Altor Equity Partners, and has been working with Ignis Photonyx, Kistefos Venture Capital, and McKinsey & Company.

Monika joined Abris in 2017 as a Partner responsible for Investor Relations, communication, and ESG. She brings 25 years of international C-suite experience in finance, private equity, banking, investor relations, management, strategy, and development.

At Abris, Monika is a member of the Abris Partners’ Board, Investment Committee, and she is chairing the Corporate Governance Committee. She contributed materially to developing and implementing of Abris ESG strategy, which is focusing on managing portfolio risks and creating shareholder’s value.
Before joining Abris, Monika was active as a non-executive director, serving on multiple supervisory boards of large companies and publicly listed corporations. Previous private equity experience includes Innova Capital, where she supervised both Portfolio Management & Fund Operations and Enterprise Investors, where she was in charge of Investor Relations. Monika served as a Management Board member of Bank BGŻ (currently BNP Paribas), responsible for strategy and development and supervised the strategic excellence hub in Agriculture. Earlier, she held the position of CFO at the pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Synthélabo and was a senior auditor at both Salustro Reydel (France) and Arthur Andersen (Poland).
Monika holds a Master’s degree from the Warsaw School of Economics and post-graduate diplomas in Social Psychology and Agriculture. She has previously chaired the Corporate Governance Committee and is currently a member of the Management Board at the Polish Association of Private Equity. She is a long term Board Member of the Polish Private Equity Association and a mentor for various business executives and NGO organizations.

Fabio Ranghino is Head of Strategy and Sustainability at Ambienta SGR and is based in Milan. He has joined Ambienta in 2011 and since then has led the development of Ambienta’s approach to sutainability driven investment across asset classes building internal proprietary knowledge across sectors and industry. Under his leadership, Sustainability & Strategy develops sustainability driven insights and ideas generation for Ambienta’s investment teams, advises on investment decisions across asset classes and develops proprietary environmental impact methodologies. Prior to Ambienta, he was a management consultant with Value Partners where he developed experience on a wide range of sectors and industries as industrial goods, automotive, luxury goods and energy. He hold a BSc and a MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and has an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France and Singapore)

Hugh Stacey joined IQ-EQ as the Executive Director of IQ-EQ Investor Solutions, which is a division dedicated to servicing aims to meet the needs of investment managers and their investors, delivering real time data reporting and data analysis on their investment portfolio.

Having served five years in the British Army leaving as Captain in 2007, Hugh spent seven years at IQ-EQ initially based in the London offices. Here he assisted in building the Sales team for EMEA. Hugh then moved to Singapore as Managing Director of Asia where he built the firm’s operations in the region.

Back in 2013, Hugh joined an alternative investment manager based in Singapore, Vulpes Investment Management, as Managing Director. During his time, he was responsible for all commercial activities as well as product development and corporate strategy. He graduated from the University of Leeds

Olivia is a Director at Blue Horizon, responsible for Impact and ESG based in London. She leads the relationships for the team with portfolio companies and stakeholders, pre- and post-investment.

Olivia brings significant experience in the food industry, including as a co-founder herself of Olive + Squash, a fast-casual farm-to-table restaurant in London.
Previously, Olivia was part of Blackstone’s Alternative Asset Management team and an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Olivia received a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Science from Imperial Business School in Climate Change, Management and Finance. She is fluent in English, Norwegian and conversational in German and French.

I work within Investec’s Fund Solutions team focusing on developing, tailoring and managing bespoke financial solutions for funds and fund managers across private equity, infrastructure and real estate. I have been involved in providing solutions for each stage of the fund lifecycle, namely portfolio-based NAV lending facilities for funds, subscription facilities for funds and solutions to assist GPs with their co-invest. More recently I have worked to build out our team’s ESG strategy, working on ESG backed subscription and NAV facilities
